About Desserts Delivered in Israel
Dessert is the easiest thing to send to a table you are not sitting at. It does not compete with what the host has cooked, it arrives finished, and it is the course people remember. Miniatures work hardest of the lot: a tray of small pastries covers a crowd at a kiddush, a sheva brachos or a Friday night table without anyone having to cut or serve.
Ice cream and ice cream cakes are the birthday end of the collection, and they are the orders where the delivery slot matters most — choose the date and time at checkout so nothing is sitting in a car in Jerusalem in July. Kashrut supervision is listed on each store's page.
What people usually send
- A tray of miniatures for a kiddush or a Shabbos table
- An ice cream cake or log for a birthday
- A candy platter for children
- Dessert sent to a host after they fed you
